FUGUE by Frau is a fictitious album that visually interprets the tension between chaos and harmony in orchestral music. Designed using only the color magenta, the artwork was generated with coded graphics in Processing and meticulously refined and laid out in Adobe Illustrator. The concept explores the stark contrast between the overwhelming, erratic presence of an orchestra in motion and the precise, emotive structure of the music it produces. Expanding the visual identity, I transformed the artwork into a full physical release designing a CD with a custom jewel case, a vinyl record sleeve, and a matching t-shirt. Each piece reinforces the theme, creating a cohesive, immersive aesthetic that blurs the line between sound and vision.
